Hi, my name is Oisín Hennessy and I’m the Community Health Worker for Farranree and Fairhill! Part of my role includes meeting with groups and individuals to gain an understanding of their needs and organising programmes, taster sessions and activities to cater for those needs.

Groups and activities that have been ran in Farranree include:

• Drum FIT
• Singing for the Brain
• Spangle Hill Men’s Shed
• Day trips, including Youghal, Killarney, Mallow
• Information sessions i.e. Local Firemen, Gardaí, Alone, Nutrition talks
• Mental Health courses, including Minding Your Wellbeing
• Arts and Crafts
• Different sports, including Corn Toss, Bowling, Activator Poles
• Chair Yoga
• Collaborative events such as meet and mingle walking events, HAZ Hooleys and Monster Bingo events.
